I reserved a room for my parents. My Mom was having surgery in Phoenix and was traveling from Prescott. I thought it would be convenient for them to stay in a hotel downtown close to the hospital in case she had complications before traveling home. They advertised they provided breakfast and they had no breakfast. I asked for a handicap accessible room. They put them at the very end which was difficult from them to get to. They did provide a wheelchair for her but my father had a difficult time walking that far and they did not offer something closer. They said the room was very nice but the other conveniences I was hoping they would have they did not have. I wished it would have worked out better for them.

The pool was kind of laughable, about 10 feet wide and 20 feet long. Its right next to the main driveway (which is right next to the main road) and didn't have a privacy fence, so even though we originally thought we might enjoy the AZ sun, we ended up passing on going down there, since it seemed like it would have been like sunbathing on the sidewalk of a major street. The hotel is new, and although the pool is small it's all you need for a quick dip . A few minor issues: the air conditioner was really loud in our room. Since we're not from Phoenix, maybe we're not used to how much it clicked on and off (summer stay) but when it came on you HEARD it! There's NO restaurants within walking distance, but I guess everyone has a car in Phoenix anyways. The front desk staff did not impress us, nor were they very helpful as they seem to be too busy with other things. They were not knowledgeable about the area.
